This year we continue our tradition of treating our guests to all the sights, sounds and smells of the holiday season in a new location - our county seat of Eastville, where guests will visit 8 new sites never before seen on the holiday tour.
As you stroll through the streets, you will find that Eastville is the home to the nation's oldest, continuous court records dating back to 1623 and home sites are more in character to colonial Williamsburg architecture.
Chef Charles and Shannon Thain will graciously host our entree in their restaurant, the Eastville Inn, which was once a stagecoach stop.
This new venue is sure to please all who come out and enjoy our holiday tour in Eastville, where you can experience a taste of yesterday in a present that cherishes tradition.
Tour-goers will enjoy the sounds of the season performed by local musicians at each location. In addition, at each location will be a savory from local restaurants to wet your appetite for the entree served at the historic Eastville Inn.
Luminaries light your way from house to house with tour guides explaining the history of the town. Returning attendees will be pleased indeed with the new venue!
Eastern Shore residents as well as guests who visit the Shore just for this event eagerly anticipate this annual sell-out evening of 500 attendees along with 150 volunteers who make the evening magical. Historic Eastville will come alive with holiday decorations and warm hospitality.
Thank you!
Our Volunteers, our Sponsors and you make it possible for the Northampton County Chamber of Commerce to continue to donate proceeds back into the community. Over the years this event has enabled us to raise over $73,000 for local non-profit organizations.
