Basic History Camp
When: July 8th – July 12th
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Cost: $100 per student
The Basic Camp is designed for rising 3rd and 5th graders and focuses on discovering what life was like in the early 1800s. Engaged with hands on learning, campers explore everything from elements of architecture to embroidery. Campers will spend part of the week solving one of the great mysteries of Ker Place. Artisans History Camp
When: July 15th – July 19th
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Cost: $145 per student
The Artisans History Camp is for returning campers and focuses on the crafts and trades of the 18th and 19th century. Campers are assigned to apprentice with various craftspeople and will create several replicas of 18th and 19th century household items. A few surprises await these budding artisans as well. Civil War Spy Camp
When: July 29th – August 2
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Cost: $120 per student
Why Spy? Come to the Civil War Spy Camp at Ker Place! Campers will be trained in mid -19th century espionage techniques, including the making and use of invisible ink; the creation of communication codes; and traveling behind enemy lines. If you attend 4th through 8th grade, you may qualify to go on a mission to get vital information to your contact. To register your student please visit www.shorehistory.org/education.
